About Us
Our History
Established over 30 years ago, Darul Ehsan has served as a cornerstone of faith and education for the Muslim community in Suffern, NY. What began as a small gathering place has grown into a thriving Islamic center dedicated to preserving authentic Islamic teachings while meeting the evolving needs of our community.
In recent years, Alhamdulillah, we’ve made significant improvements to our facility, including a complete roof replacement and building upgrades that brought us up to code, earning our first Certificate of Use/Occupancy in seven decades. Today, Darul Ehsan serves over 30 full-time students and approximately 50 students in our after-school Maktab programs, providing comprehensive Islamic and secular education in a state-of-the-art facility.

To be a leading Islamic educational institution in the Hudson Valley, raising a generation of students who are guardians of the Holy Quran and exemplary Muslims grounded in authentic knowledge and strong character.
Mission
To provide reputable Quranic education (Hifz/Nazara) and comprehensive Islamic studies (Aqaid/Fiqh) alongside excellent secular education in Math, Science, English, and Social Studies, utilizing modern resources and NYS-approved curriculum to prepare our youth for success in this life and the hereafter.
